Another custom saber - Ethereal

Hi all.
With all the gorgeous sabers I've seen around recently, it's time to throw in another from me. This time around, I went a bit more elegant and clean. I'll save some crazy weathering for a later build =)


The specs:
- custom cut and painted shrouds
- saltwater etching ( the grooves for the wires ) then inlaid with gold wire, to run underneath the shrouds. Hard to see in the pics, but the wires are asymmetrical between shrouds
- black anodize throughout
- gold accents on trim rings and screw heads
- a Prizm 4.0 on a GOTH chassis
- Tri-cree RGB
- custom brass switches
- TCSS grips inlaid into the flutes of the hilt ( JB welded in )
- bass speaker

Interesting sound fonts used and look. It looks really good in Sith mode red. Nice build!

Not sure whether to say Super Sithy or Very Vadery, but either way, that candy red chrome and black is Very Sithy! I even like the gold.

Very well put together paintjob Darkmatter73 ! You did just enough with the red that it's impressive, but not overwhelming the black. Same with the gold vs. the red. That's difficult to do, and you nailed it! The brass nut on the recharge port is great finishing touch, a silver nut would have killed the whole thing. Way to put in the effort to keep the theme on track!

Very nice. I totally see Iron Man colors going on though :P I need to try me PRIZM out for sure at some point
