    Default homage to an homage.... a build log (**pic heavy**)

    Well I decided that I wanted to do a derelict build but I am not made out of money so I couldnt get a flex top to make it as true to slothfurnaces as Id like but then I found a guy named Denzil Long on youtube that did an homage in all mhs. I have copied his design and tweaked it to my own liking. I have a decent amount of machining in this build and if all goes well it should be the pride of my 2 saber collection lol. Anyways here are my progress pics on the hilt.

    Looking good so far. Nice work on cutting that ribbed section. Minimal loss.

    I agree with Greenie...what did you use to cut that with? And yes it is looking really good....keep it up.

    Thanks guys! I cut it with a .012 wide slitting saw on a manual mill.

    Thanks guys, I am really excited with how it is turning out. I wish I had enough time to make a shoulder puller for the flex button just to make the shroud a little cleaner...but oh well I guess lol
