    Default El in Led blade?

Is it possible to hook up el wire into Tims led blade,im not sure of the dimensions but if the mono plug and poly e could fit inside and you could fill it with enough el wire would it work?

that could be really cool. you could make the saber so bright because of all the strands of el wire
you would have to find a bigger mono jack though

it wouldnt make it as bright but i think white EL wire inside a 3/4" tube, inside a regular 1" blade color of your choice would be pretty cool.

I remember this done once. It required a second inverter because the length is too long. It does help a bit with brightness, but at that point you are covering wire in the center and making it pointless.

What if you took a 1" blade and diffuser with something like maybe the 3/4" diffuser and wrapted it around it then stuffed it inside the blade.so the EL wire is centered and not filling up the middel of the blade and losing brightness.

Sure, I guess that'd be fine if you got the right diameters. It would probably still need a second or heftier inverter.

Yeah But I think the way it seems in order for el to compeat with leds you would almost have to run a second inverter just for it to come close.

Has anyone tryed 3 inverters before or would it fry the wire?

in a normal 3/4 inch el blade it would probably fry the wire. if you were doing it with a led blade like we are talking about, it would work fine

Yeah cause of all the extra wire that you would be running. Hellif I was gonna go to that length I would coil the wire around the smaller diffuser tube and run 4 inverters.

Look out fire here I come lol.
