Yep, Tim did mine. You can get hand knurling tools if you don't have a lathe. They work like tube cutters. I think imports run about $50-80 and USA made are in the hundreds upon hundreds of dollars. It looks like a pain to do though to be honest.
Any plans on sealing that copper, so it does not tarnish over time or is tarnished look what you working on achieving overtime?
