Thread: I feel like doing something sithy....

Default I feel like doing something sithy....

I want to do a sith saber... so it's gotta be dirty and dark....and I also want to do a full reveal chassis.... I really like the derelict saber a couple people have done but I have no clue how to make that a decent full reveal which pains me because it really just floats my boat. So Iam asking for any tips or ideas on either full reveal chassis in general or making that into a full reveal.

    Thanks ahead of time...

Your build looks great! Can't wait to see how you finish the internals!

Thanx! I'm really happy with how things are going so far...were you able to get any ideas for your own reveal?

To stick with the derelict type saber no...because apparently it's just a Starkiller with an exposed chamber kinda. But if I go a different route I think I can use a couple of your ideas.

    Who makes the derelict?

...nvm, I found a pic of it...it does look very much like the Starkiller, minus the exposed crystal & the pommel

How are some people doing the super fancy internals the look like the inside of a "real" saber....or is it a trade secret I just have to figure out myself?

Most the folks who do the super detailed internals have machining equipment or know someone who does & they can have custom aluminum parts made whenever.

Another option is to have a 3d printed chassis made by someone who knows how design them & then can print them for you.

Then there are those (like myself) who put together their chassis' using acrylic discs & aluminum or brass rods.
