Default Crystal Focus V8 + Blue/Blue/White Cree - Resistors needed?

    Hi folks!

I'm very much an amateur when it comes to electronics, and while I think I've got most everything in my saber figured out, there's one big question I'm still trying to work out.

I have a Blue/Blue/White Cree XP-E2 CopperNova LED that I'm connecting to a Crystal Focus V8. My intention is to use the white on top of the two blue for flash on clash.

From reading the Crystal Focus manual, it seems like I can wire the two blue LEDs together in series and connect them to one channel, then connect the white to the second channel for the FOC. What I'm struggling with is which resistors, if any, I need to put in place to achieve this.

Can anyone who's done a similar set up help a newbie out?

    Thanks so much in advance!

With the two blues connected in series to the primary channel, they will not need a resistor. The LED driver onboard the CF8 will handle them. You will need a resistor for the white FoC die.

The information you need is the Forward Voltage of your white LED (found on the store page), the desired current (typically 1000mA or 1A), and the voltage of your battery pack (typically 7.4v for a CF. Check the links in my signature for links to calculating your resistor values.
We all have to start somewhere. The journey is all the more impressive by our humble beginnings.
