Smart charger problem

Trying to charge my batteries Panasonic 3.7, and the status light just flashes red, not solid. will go back to solid green if i disconnect the batteries. Just wondering if anybody would have an idea about what was going on with it

Blinking red usually means bad battery.. check your connections maybe, or try another charger if you can.
