Thread: Roque Sound Font, clicking noise?

Default Roque Sound Font, clicking noise?

So, I purchased the Roque font.
Itīs awesome to say the least.

I did what I always do, since Iīm not packing a CF.
Selected the swings, clashes, power on/off that I wanted.

The volume was quite low on this font, so I decided to up the volume in Audacity, as I always do with fonts.
Now after a clash or swing, thereīs a clicking noise when returning to the hum.
I tried everything I could think of, but no luck.

If I just load the original volume on the font, it sounds fine.

    Any ideas?

Btw, the board is a Nano Biscotte V3 with 28mm bass speaker from tcss.

Sounds like the font is clipping when you run it through Audacity. Watch your peaks.

Also when you save, clear the metadata.

Whenever you change the volume of a sound file you risk altering a number of things. Perhaps the zero crossings at the beginning and end of each file get altered. I would check those too.
