Thanks man! Iam glad it turned out as well as it did to be honest. It's "glove" leather if your interested in doing it...and I sewed it with leather cord but if I were to do it again I'd pick something a little more tough because it broke a few times while pulling it tight.

That! Good sir is a part of an H.O. scale fire escape kit I found at a hobby shop lol. Gold medal models brand if you care to look. I plan on using a couple of the other pieces from it for another cc at a different time. And you can't really see it in the pics but I used a larger piece of the same shape to cover the wires in the back of the cc.
