Locations area?
Saw a post the other day that made me think/wonder if it would be worthwhile to have a locations "category" on these boards... Maybe by state or city. Not sure if this has come up before or if it's allowed- realistic- etc.... But might be nice to coordinate or even get together with neighbors. Just a thought.
There used to be a User Map that showed everyone's location on Google Maps, but it broke in one of the forum software updates. Last time I looked at it when it was still working, forum members were scattered all across the globe, with the majority in the U.S.
We all have to start somewhere. The journey is all the more impressive by our humble beginnings.

You could always start a "Any saber builders near xxx?" thread to see who is around you. I seem to recall seeing something like that recently.
If you look at the forum index for the Rebel Legion, the geographic break-out forums out-weigh the "technical" content 6 to 1. That seems like a lot of manage.
I do wish the map was working. It would be fun to see the distribution.
Yeah- that was what triggered the idea.
