Killer Penny Sled - Copper Plated

I got the chance to do a little work for the Killer Penny. This is the Poly Carbonate chassis sled that holds the sound board. I used my plastic to metal technique that was done on DCLS-004's core.

Below is a shot right after plating and slightly buffed with #0000 steel wool. This was the first attempt and you probably notice some faint lines created by the wire that was wrapped around the piece. This wouldn't do, so I removed the entire finish and carefully revised the process to reduce the lines. Unfortunately, I didn't get a shot of the second run, but it came out great and the lines were no more.

Corbin is currently working on some weathering approaches until he gets something he likes.

Thanks. Yeah, I kicked myself when I realized I'd forgotten to take a shot. Unfortunately, Corbin has already begun weathering.
