Thread: Sabers for a friend.

    Default Sabers for a friend.

First time making a saber. So of course I do not follow conventional wisdom and take things slow and easy. Plunged headlong into the project. Thankfully, they both work and nothing was fried by my efforts.

I've mostly been in awe of everyone else's posts concerning their own sabers. These are really rather simple.

This was quite a learning experience. I made mistakes. Had to cut design concepts I was going for, simplify it further than I planned. But, my friend seems to love them, so that's all that matters I suppose.

And although they are both identical, I think of them as being named 'Morning Angel' and 'Careless Whisper'.

Congrats! And now you've learned some valuable bits of information for building your next sabers.

It's so hard to stop at just one (or two).
We all have to start somewhere. The journey is all the more impressive by our humble beginnings.

Nice. I like the clean look. I think there's a lot to be said for building two identical sabres. I'd screw one up and have to make adjustments. Making two identical sabres shows precision and ability. Congratulations!
