fisto, you sure about that? i think you might of mistaken the size of the sinktube it fits for the length of the adapter

by the pics i would figure it to be in the region of 2 to 2 1/2 inches

He is correct. It is almost square. Slightly less than 1.5" in diameter and 1.5" in length.
