    Lightbulb Color Discs?

OK, So I made a build and used a White Cree XP-L (If i'm not mistaken) which is available from TCSS.
And I bought bought color discs. I found out The color isn't very strong and isn't very bright.
Should I buy a Real colored light?
Is there a way to enhance the light?
    Thanks

Buying LEDs of the desired colors will almost always be brighter than filtering White light to a specific color, especially if multiple filters are being used simultaneously.

In reality there is no "white" light, it's the combination of multiple wavelengths. When you filter it you are subtracting light away, at the cost of battery life.
