Default Question about Replica MPP Clamp

I'm using the Replica MPP Clamp, and I may need to drill into it to mount two small tactile switches. Does anyone have any experience with the plastic material this clamp is made of? I'm wondering if drilling will cause it to tear, split, etc.

The clamp I got is almost wholly metal, with the only plastic as far as I can tell being the plastic ring/cylinder lining the inside of the metal ring/cylinder... or the Bubble Card (obviously)

Which part exactly are you planning on drilling into?

Maybe it is metal. The coating makes it feel like plastic, but I think you're right.
