    Default Shock blaster WIP

I've been working on a shock blaster inspired by Star Wars Battlefront. The walnut stock, trigger, and trigger assembly are old M-1 Garand pieces. I used different layers of aluminum pipe, MHS pieces, and PVC pipe for the rest. Eventually, I'll make a more elaborate barrel. The trigger activates a momentary switch. Eventually, I'd like to add a blaster core...if I can ever get one. If not, I'll repurpose a PRIZM. I also have haptic engine driver and a linear actuator motor, which will ideally give the blaster a THUMP when the trigger is pulled.

Oh yeah, the bolt action works and is spring loaded. I would like to use it to activate a switch for additional haptic/light/sound effects.

Nice work. Any chance you'll post a video demonstrating the functionality?

I've debated building a blaster, and have parts and designs, but since taking it out in public isn't really an option it's very low on the priority list.

I'll post a video once I get the guts to go inside it. Unless, none of it works.

If you can't get a BC, I would recommend making a wtb thread over at FXS for a PC 1.x, the ones with analog sensors. You can re-purpose the sensor inputs to make them manually triggered.

I ordered the Blaster Core 5.0 today. Can't wait to continue with this project! I don't see the manual for 5.0, but the 4.0 manual is posted on Plecter Labs site. I guess that'll do for now.

I tinkered with the shock blaster some more, and now I'm finally done. I wanted this one to have a rich sound. I drilled through the walnut M1 garand stock, so I could put a speaker in the butt. Here's the before picture.
