Default First build part list and plan

Hi everybody! Just wanted to bounce this off of you guys before I put in an order to the Shop. For reference, I'm using an empty MR Mace Windu saber hilt.

    Nano Biscotte V3
Tri Cree XP-E2 (Royal Blue and Red for purple, Blue for FOC)
4.7 ohm 10w resistor for LED to get purple color as well as protect the NB
    MHS Speaker Mount V6
    Premium 28mm speaker
NB V3 heading and wiring harness
    16mm AV momentary switch
    TrustFire Protected 3.7V 2400mAh 18650
    18650 Single Cell Holder

Is there anything out of whack with this? Is there anything that I might be missing? I've measured the ID of the saber, and the speaker mount should fit nicely. I'm also planning on drilling out a new hole where the old switch was to accommodate the new switch. The switch won't cover all of the old switch hole, but it should be able to fit okay once I open up some more space for it. Thanks for reading, and MTFBWYA!

Those parts look compatible with each other. I would probably add in a couple small resistors for your Royal Blue and Blue LEDs. If you leave your LEDs unresistored with the NB, you can get false swings and erratic behavior.
We all have to start somewhere. The journey is all the more impressive by our humble beginnings.

What are you looking for out of your FOC? The NB adds the FOC to the main, so it will be all three lit together. Royal+Red+Blue will give you a somewhat bluer purple that is somewhat brighter. If you do the RGrB tri with Green FOC it will shift it toward white depending on our R/rB mix for a more dramatic effect. Someone else with that specific combo may think differently. I have an RGrB and a Blue single that I've experimented with.

Thanks! I'll be sure to add that in my list.

Oh, really? I was under the impression that the NB's FOC worked with only the LED that was connected to the FOC terminal, i.e. Red+Royal turn off when the saber clashes, Blue is turned on for that brief moment. I suppose I'm mistaken, though. Is that result a possibility given what I'm working with?

Not with the NB. The main LEDs remain on, the FoC LED is added to them. If you want different behavior, you'll need one of the higher-end boards.

Gotcha. Hmm... Looks like a different dye is in store. Thanks for the feedback!
