interchangeing MR boards

I have an Maul board in my custom MHS saber but I want to put in an Anakin. Seems the only difference is one is 3AAA and the other is 3AA. I am using the stock battery pack and speaker from the Maul saber.I'm tired of just one clash sound.

Yup, the new ones are interchangable really easy. I'm switching the RGB I'm working on. Anakin guts, but Vader board.

Regardless of one clash I like the hum tons better.

ya me to but I wish they would have put alittle more thought and energy into the "red" ones. Maybe with the new vader comeing out they did.

mr probably won't make a new board anytime soon...they don't like to get off their lazy a$$es if ya know what i mean

well got it all switched around. the only thing that I had to do was resolder the switch to the other wires.

It's easy to forget that's it's almost always:

* Negative bundle, negative bundle of MR wires...
* Positive is basically VDD... sometimes the clash sensor is tied in here (so it gets uh... energy heheh)

...in MR boards.

Any MR LED board can be wired to ANY battery pack with ANY speaker and ANY switch... so long as you get the wiring correct, and you don't over/under power the thing.

Also, beauty with LEDs... diodes. You can't mess them up by wiring them "backwards" (i.e. flip the + and - )

Ya it worked out really well. I like the sound of the anakin better.
