Default Turning Aluminium&Steel into a saber

    Hello,

I`m 21y old and just started to make lightsabers in my spare time from university. I`ll share my first one here.
Everything is built up from scratch and full material. No MHS parts or machined parts used. The design i went for is a mixture of some i found on the internet and my own.

Video of the saber: https://goo.gl/photos/h8p1CnPsDCZtiQ2s8 (hope link works)

    Specs:
    - 8mm LED-String
    - 18650 protected Li-Ion Cell with recharche Port & Kill key
    - Naigon`s Spark 2 (due to lack of CF-LS Board)
    - 2 W Speaker
    - inner steel tube, other parts aluminium
    - TCSS 1" thin blade & blade diffuser
    - 8 DIN Plug
    - Main button + aux button (both momentary)
    - Crystal chamber glowing red
    - Flash on clash (white) crystall chamber or Blade (depending on soundfont)
    - back end of the grip covered with 4 strips of black painted wood
    - Something i forgot about

Im still not 100% finished/satisfied with the saber - needs some polishing or a more used look, not sure as of now. Also the crystal chamber is very very basic, maybe i will tune that up a little bit more.

I will probably sell this saber when im 100% done to build another one, hopefully with a plecter CF-LS board (although the naigon`s is really good!)

For a fully custom machined amateur build you've done an amazing job. Keep up the great work, you were born for this!

    Indeed a very nice build!
I have a bad feeling about this...

Very nice! I wish I had the skills & tools available to make mine from scratch

We all do NaasadTal ....we all do. Would love to have the chance to spend a few hours(days...lol) in a shop that had all those different milling tools. But to avail i have to do things the hard way.

By the way TeeBeutel that's a great first build...congratz!
