    Default My first build

Hello all this will be my first build so I'm starting to get parts. There are some parts I don't know what to get.
Here is what I would like purple colour blade, sound, flash on clash. So my question would be what internal parts should I be getting? Like LEDs.
Plz any help would be great

    Welcome.

check out the basic build videos in the videos and tutorials section.

red and blue make purple, so you'll need an RGB or custom tri led with those two colors and a third of your choosing. There is no single led for purple if I'm not mistaken.

    Hi, welcome!

Just a heads up, unless you're experienced in wiring electronics, I'd suggest making a stunt saber as your first lightsaber before committing to a fully loaded saber!

If you are still gonna make a saber with sound, DC's response is accurate. You'll also need a soundboard and resistors. I'd read through your soundboard's manual for more information on what you'll need to buy.

If the waters of a pool cease to move, and become stagnant, the waters poison themselves, and kill all who drink from it. Chaos, on the other hand, brings great change. Hi,

I am doing my first build too, as soon as all my parts get here. You could learn a lot by watching all the videos on TCSS youTube channel, and also look at a series of videos called "Let's Build A Graflex". Even if you aren't building a Graflex, there's tons of good information in there.

I'd say, start with these videos:

    Building a saber with sound
    NBv3 onboard pex (FoC)
    Color mixing with resistors

You could watch any of the videos from the tutorial section that you think would be helpful and even the ones you don't think would be helpful. (They'll probably be helpful in some way)

That should give you a general idea of what kind of parts you'll be needing. You should also read the owners manual(s) for whatever soundboard you choose to use (consider a nano biscotte) and if you come across something you don't fully understand, use the search function on the forums to look up that subject.
