Also, make sure that you wire the polarity right on the recharge port.

Ok, I think I got it. Attaching pics of what I've done so far. Minus the fact it's not as clean and professional as you guys do, but I'm learning. Everything powered on and off ok, and kill key worked. Just need to get my resistor on the LED and redo the JST connection and I think I'm good. Let me know your thoughts.

Looks fine to me. You're going to have a fun time with your cram-fu when it comes time to get all those JST connectors inside the saber. They're not big on their own, but a bunch of them together will eat up hilt space in a hurry.
We all have to start somewhere. The journey is all the more impressive by our humble beginnings.

http://led.linear1.org/1led.wiz for the lazy man's resistor calculator!
http://forums.thecustomsabershop.com...e-to-Ohm-s-Law for getting resistor values the right way!

Oh I'm sure! I'm just happy I got it wired correctly and it worked! And nothing blew up! lol Like I said, some cleaning up to do but overall, happy it's completed. I think next time I am going to use the soundboard without the prewire piece. Might be a little easier.

Thank you very much for the help SS!
