Thread: Charge port placement with MHS speaker mount

Default Charge port placement with MHS speaker mount

I'd like to use the MHS speaker mount found at the shop (http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/MH...?ItemId=359816) but I'm not sure I'll be able to put a charge port underneath it (mounted to this MPS insert: http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/MP...le-6-P263.aspx).

If I use the MHS speaker mount, will I have to find a new place to put the charge port or will I be able to squeeze wires past the mount to reach the charge port?

I don't think you can squeeze the wires past the speaker holder. I remember reading posts talking about carving channels in the speaker mounts for wires, but my search-fu has failed me.

    This is correct

So it can be done as long as I'm willing to carve out a bit of the speaker mount?

    It can defiantly be done

Also it depends on what pommel you use. The shorter pommels present an additional challenge, but one of the longer ones works fine.
