18 deg tri-rebel lens vs 5 deg rebel lens

My general understanding of the lenses is that the smaller angled lenses are better for longer blades and the wider angled lenses are better for shorter blades. For the Tri-Rebel LEDs, there is only an 18 degree lens available in the shop. Does that mean that it's not very well suited for a longer blade?

They're fine for the typical length blades most use (32-36")
