Question Blue Led Blinks When Kill Key Removed

Perhaps I am not searching correctly, but I can't find a thread on this. Has anyone else had a similar issue and possibly know the fix?

I am running a Cree RGrB on a Prizm. Both green and blue led's are set well below (900) the max drive setting.

    Thanks

The kill key should cut the connection between the battery and the board. If an aux light or main LED is burning when the kill key is removed, then the power port isn't wired correctly. I have had this issue in two builds, and both times, I accidentally wired the wrong ground wire to the board. I say check the wiring for the kill key to make sure it isn't connected to other ground wires.

Ignore that, I mis-read your question. Sorry.

I was just ready to reply

Its just a quick burst when the saber boots. I think it may be drawing too much current. 2 things I've nailed down so far; 1) I had two tri-crees with differing Vf and I mixed them up during install. Note to self, label stuff better. 2) It only happens right after a full charge and goes away once the battery has settled. So I am going to lower the drive parameter for the correct Vf of the blue and charge the battery full again to see what happens.

If anyone has any other thoughts, ideas etc. Happy to hear them.

Not sure why it happens, but something similar happens to me sometimes.
Using a NB v2 and wired my Red and Green in parallel with the rB for FoC. When I pull the kill key, 33% of the time the red and green leds will blink.

Didn't think much of it at first but if it's an actual issue, would also be interested in knowing what to do about it.
Why did Isendra die? Tell me the truth!

That it is beyond your abilities does not mean it is beyond mine. I learned the lesson of Isendra's death. But I was given my power for a reason, and it is my burden to use it.
I will use it, not fear it as you do, High Councilor Valthek

I don't know if it's an issue or not, but it is bugging me.

It happens on my RRW NBv2 as well but I don't care about that saber as much.

Maybe it could be when fully charged a 3.7v battery is close to 4v and after the battery has drained a bit the issue corrects itself? Just a thought and I doubt its your wiring, Ive seen your builds

My my thoughts as well. But it could be wiring. I consider myself a novice there. I just want to know becauseits frustrating and I'd like to learn and get better.

I posted in fx also. Hopefully Erv can chime in when he gets a minute.
