Very nice saber.
I love the design and the way you integrated the different part in different materials giving it an unique look.
Bravo !

"Peace is a lie. Perhaps the greatest of them all. Peace, or a lack of change equals Death. If the waters of a pool cease to move, and become stagnant, the waters poison themselves, and kill all who drink from it. Chaos, on the other hand, brings great change. Should the pool be over taken by a river, life springs anew.

Dude, that is one epic, awesome, fiendish saber you've built! Details are so rich, love the rusty weathered quality you gave the copper and brass, and using the 3D printing roughness as inspiration. Fantastic! I will be heading on over to the build log that I seemed to have somehow missed. Thanks for the inspirational work!
This is one of the most beautiful objects ever forged by the hands of man.
Awww finished. Worth the wait. Excellent work sir. I must say the weathering is perfect. Weathering is definitely a skill I need to work on. I think I just don't have to guts to go beyond a little light weathering. Also definitely shows how great a printed chassis can look. I myself don't really like printed chassis for a reveal. They just look so plastic cause well they are. Until I saw yours that is. Really shows what a printed chassis can look like with a little bit of artistry.
Thanks! You guys are way too kind.
I have to admit, I had a hard time taking the hammer and files to this thing and quite literally sat staring at it for several hours working up the nerve. At the end, I thought, I designed the hilt and had it machined, I can do it again if I'm not happy with the result. Sure there's cost involved, but we're not in this hobby as a means of saving money.
That's a very attractive chassis you have in there. Well done.
