Here are the hilt pics you asked for. As you can see, there is an exposed crystal chamber. I've been dueling with it at least twice a week for nearly 6 months and it's holding up great.
I have the NB, so there are 2 sound banks. I have Bank 1 config.txt volume set to 0, effectively a "silent font".
That is beautiful! Thanx for sharing...I'm SUPER excited to start putting my hilt together!
