It seems no one has completely confirmed what the cylinders came from, but I stumbled across this site:

Perhaps they are from an old broken down E. H. Scott Radio? Thoughts?

Yea, checked on that, but even they haven't completely confirmed it. PlayfulWolfCub Designs has managed to create metal replicas of it though. Waiting to find out how much they are and it they are still making them.
