Is their a way to reduce the sound of the pvc smashing against eachother in a duel?

trying to search the forums....not having much luck, but i distinctly recall the discussion...and one suggestion was that you could use clear heatshrink tubing on the blade and it helped reduced the sound of the impact of plastic on plastic, along with helping to keep the tip from flying across the room.

If you recall, how well did it reduce the noise? Thanks

It didn't completely eliminate it, but it did reduce it if both sabers had it. I think it had something to do with Novastar's stage performances and it was something he had posted about trying.
