Thoughts on a Wood Switch Box

Maple's one of the softer hardwoods. Good choice... Though I'm somewhat geographically biased

Well Thalan i am a woodworker....mastercraftsman to be exact. And Ash would be good being a hardwood...but it has no style...its just kinda plain/boring...bland..ehh you get the point...lol. Since your not needing it for strength but for style, i would use birdseye maple or a burl wood. With your part being so small you can most likely get it for free from a luthier or just google for it...a lumber shop can send you samples that are bigger then the switch box.
