I tried looking across the internet to find out what company/maker has manufactured this blade but can find nothing on it. I was told it is an older Saber Forge saber and not in production any longer. Does anyone have an idea what it might be?

I am a newbie saber enthusiast who might get into this relatively soon. I am a college student who is doing a lot of research into this DIY saber stuff. It looks really fun!

That looks like a homebrew saber, but is very similar to another company's product. Due to board rules I cannot say who.

You may get better answers over at fx-sabers.

Oh. I was looking at the rules and did not see any particular companies banned. I saw some others mentioned so I figured it was okay. Does my post need to be edited so that I am not in violation of something? I see some members mentioning some companies but I am not sure what the rules on that might be. I looked around and only saw a rule relating to solicitation. If I need to edit my post please just let me know. I do not wish to cause a problem. ><

Just out of curiosity, is there an EL blade section on the TCSS website? I tried finding some and could not see pre-assembled ones to any effect.

There's an EL section on the forums that you can peruse for old info. EL is an old tech that is no longer used. Also, TCSS does not do assembled sabers. It's all DIY here.

Xeno, you did nothing wrong don't worry. It's more of an unspoken guideline (not official) on these forums not to mention this certain company due to its controversial past. It may or may not ryhme with "sabergorge"

The company might not be liked, but I see no issue with studying their work to broaden your knowledge on saber building.

This type of saber can be made with 2 single blade sabers connected together with a double male threaded coupler here on TCSS:

If you like the claw features they may need to be bought elsewhere or custom machined for you. But they could be attached to your saber with this claw mount:

To be entirely honest, I just might be able to pick up an older EL saberstaff for relatively cheap that is similar to the picture posted. It is just not set in stone yet, and I wanted to make sure what I was getting would be somewhat useful/be an actual deal for me. I would do that now and then gut out the electronics to replace with LED stuff later.

Thank you for the links! I will need those for the future definitely. C:
