Default First build list - trying to keep it simple

Hola! I am planning to start my first build soon and need some feedback on my parts list. I don't plan on adding sound, just a basic stunt saber.

    Body:
    Hilt style 4
    Machine Standard style switch hole
    MPS Clip
    MPS Insert Style 4
    MPS Pommel Style 7
    MHSV1 Blade Holder Style 17
    .75" Male / Female extension
Double ended male threaded connector style 1

    Electronics:
Rebel Star LED & MHSV1 Heatsink Module
    Heat Sink V4 (Flat Style)
    Luxeon Rebel Star (Royal Blue)
Push on/push off switch with red button
    Red rubber switch boot
    BuckPuck 1000mA 4-wire
    1/8" Adhesive lined heatshrink tubing

    Blade:
Trans White Battle blade 1" OD (32 inches) OR "TCSS style" Battle blade 1" OD (32 inches)
    8-32 x .3" black thumb screw

I am not sure which battery pack to include. I would like to use one of the AA or AAA holders, would either http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/4A...ctor-P724.aspx or http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/4A...ctor-P723.aspx work?
These were my first choices, but I am not opposed to a Li-ion pack if that is more highly recommended.
Also, if I added a ribbed section (http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/MH...?ItemId=323704) in place of the extension/connector will either of the battery holders not fit?

I know some parts are currently out of stock, but I have no problem waiting.
Any feedback would be great. Thanks.

You'll need al least 5 volts to power the BuckPuck. I don't know if a 4 AA or 4 AAA battery holder will fit in the ribbed extension, but TCSS makes acrylic disks to hold a li-ion battery that will fit.

AA or AAA holders that hold 4 cells will not fit in the ribbed extension...the I.D. of those parts is 1.15". A single 3.7v Li-Ion battery will fit, but will not be enough to power the buckpuck, which Generic pointed out, requires a minimum of 5volts. you would need to use one of the 7.4 volts 14500 packs to work with the buck puck, which would fit inside the ribbed extension.
