Thread: Px2

    Default Px2

I am currently working on a NB v3 lightsaber that I want to put FOC in. I haven't been able to find a straight answer on this: which resistor should I be using from the Px2 to the FOC LED?

You won't get a straight answer unless you provide the necessary information.

http://forums.thecustomsabershop.com...e-to-Ohm-s-Law teaches you how to calculate your resistor values. The three pieces of information you need are: Source voltage (typically your battery pack voltage), the forward voltage of your LED, and the desired current you wish to give your LED (typically 1000mA or 700mA for high powered LEDs, 20mA for accent LEDs).
We all have to start somewhere. The journey is all the more impressive by our humble beginnings.

It should also be noted that the NBv3 has an on-board PEx and therefore has no need for an external one. Make sure you look at the manual for wiring diagrams.

Thank you. I didn't know that change from the NBv2
