Wiring quuestion for MWS stunt saber?

Hi there, I know the MWS components are supposed to be dummy-proof but I'm having problems with the green ring led not turning on in the AV latching switch.

I am using these parts that are here now:

I connected everything normally (battery JST to +B- , Main Led JST to +L- , AV switch yellow wires JST(NO1,C1) to SW , and AV switch led wires with resistor JST to +A-)
The latching switch turns on the main green led like it is supposed to but my switch circle led is not.

The other black/red wire set(+R-) is for a recharge port with doesn't pertain to me since I'm using 4 AAA batteries.
Does it have anything to do with the ARES part that is not wired? What am I doing wrong?

The ARES part is for a resistor for the accent LED in your switch, but the prewired switch already has a resistor. Just use a wire to connect the two parts of the ARES together.
