Thread: Which heat sink - copper nova?

Default Which heat sink - copper nova?

I'm a firm believer in more mass is better when it comes to heat sinks. It's not like an A/C unit where if a unit gets too big for the application it becomes inefficient and actually loses functionality.

So I'd like to use the never in stock V3 "cupcake" style heat sink, but it looks like the V4 heat sink would work too. I don't mind waiting for the v3 to reappear in stock, since I've been waiting for a rather long time for certain chokes to get restocked as well.

V3 and V4? Which would you choose for your copper nova?

    Default

Both are fine, especially if you're using MHS parts. The copper heatsink will transfer the excess heat to your aluminum hilt.
We all have to start somewhere. The journey is all the more impressive by our humble beginnings.
