Default Choke / thin neck and securing the blade

    Hi,

I'm currently working on an easier build, but thinking about what I'd like to do as a personal saber later on.

This is the design I worked up in MHS builder:

My only concern is that having the choke there won't give enough room for both the blade and LED, making it more of a showpiece than a duelling saber.

Is that a viable design? Should I put an extension in to give the blade more room?

    Thanks!

The led sits between the base of the emitter and the front of the choke inside the threaded area, so there's plenty of room for that. The blade depth for that emitter is only about 1", and as it sits up against the led module, it doesn't go into the hilt any further.

That's a relief, thanks! I really didn't like how an additional extension changed the aesthetic.

Like Jay-gon said, there is plenty of room in there, so it is very much a valid design!

I also really like the color scheme of it btw!
