ROTS Removable blade Obi Wan Conversion

This is a bare bones tutorial on how to convert your 2010 obi wan ROTS removable blade version.

I didn't do that great of a job with documenting every step because I didn't know if I could actually do it.


Push the sound board and battery pack out of the hilt. After you have removed the switch and desoldered it.

Using a pair of diagonal pliers cut open the housing

Black and grey wires are negative, both need to be connected.
Green, blue, orange, and brown are positive.
The other wire, white (I think) can be removed...

Then turn it on!

Put the switch back in the box and re-solder. This is the hardest and most annoying part!
