Thread: Is it possible to make a screen accurate Darth Vader hilt?

Default Is it possible to make a screen accurate Darth Vader hilt?

I've found good places for ANH Luke Graflex, an obi-wan hilt, but not much in terms of Vader's HR saber.

Does anyone make tutorials for the movie sabers based on the parts here?

Any recommendations or info on Vader (or anyone else for that matter not mentioned) would be appreciated.

    Around here probably not

You would be better off on the Replica Prop Forum (RPF) or doing some general googling.

Also you will find there are 3ish versions of the Vader saber (one for each movie and
some stunt models) so picking the "most screen accurate" depends on which movie.

Screen accurate? You can get reasonable approximations with MHS parts. Getting perfect, accurate replicas of the on-screen sabers isn't really possible without extensive custom machining.

Check out the MHS builder and you should be able to build a good approximation. You may need to get a few odds and ends elsewhere (3d printed shroud box, etc).
We all have to start somewhere. The journey is all the more impressive by our humble beginnings.
