Talking Finally, I've caught my unicorn.

Years of drooling, pining, and coveting I've finally got my grubby hands on a Vintage Graflex. I did my research and also ran it by some folks at FX and everything checks out.

Now to figure out what to do with it. ANH, ESB, electronics or not, Crystal chamber? So many decisions.

I say you should do a TFA graflex build! I think it's almost the same as the ESB version, with some minor changes.

ESB (no other than reason than because its my favorite of the bunch)

    Electronics - of course!!

    Crystal Chamber - I would!

Very nice. I, personally would go ANH. That's my fav. I've not taken a good look at the TFA version, though.

Hmm TFA is not a bad idea. It's basically the ESB version but keeps the glass eye from ANH. I never really liked the two red buttons on the ESB saber.

I'll most likely do electronics and crystal chamber. This should be a fun, challenging build. Lots of reading, my future holds.

    That's exactly why I don't like it.

Congrats! Silly idea I've always had, working on old mics is a hobby of mine so I've had to deal with the 2 pin mic connectors before. It's funny, I've had people convert vintage mics to xlrs because they don't know you can still get that connector and just make a 2pin to xlr cable, unbalanced but still, your not hacking a nice old mic. Anyways, moot point and I digress, I always thought it would be cool to make the 2pin port on the graflex functional, Would be cool to use it for recharge or something.
