    Default resistor help

OK so Im going to run a red Cree XP-E2 led at 1A (recommend at the store) with a forward voltage of 2.59 and use a li-on 3.7V battery. I calculate my resistor to be 1.11ohm and 1.11 watt. I don't see one even close to this in the store or a combination of resistors I could use. Am I doing this right? How far can you very from the exact calculations? Would a 1ohm 2 watt work?

I'm going to use a nano biscotte if it makes a difference.

    Merry Christmas btw!

Safer bet would be to go a littler higher than a little lower. I'd say use the 1.2ohm 3W resistor from the store rather than the 1ohm 2W.
