Star Wars TFA Props PICS

I've been meaning to post this for a while and it has slipped my mind for some reason. About a month ago Wired came out with this gallery of some props from the new movie. The pics are absolutely gorgeous, but more importantly to me, I think it is a great source of inspiration for aging/weathering looks. There is a good mix of pristine, light aging, and heavy aging. I especially like slides 24 and 32

Okay, I have to say 24 and 32 were two of my favorites! I also really liked slides 2 and 37 as well.

I love how they stayed consistent with the original trilogy and used the graflex-based ESB saber rather than using the custom machined version from ROTS (which I personally prefer). I'm also loving the First Order uniforms and armour, and the contrast between the shiny black-and-white First Order blasters and the other very worn-down blasters. Thanks for sharing!

Yea 32 is pretty interesting.

And 41. That blaster looks menacing...
