Cool Darth Chasm's DCLS-003 AKA "The Lucky Padawan"

    DCLS-003 (AKA "The Lucky Padawan")

This is a build I did for my 10yr old nephew so he and I can play before the big premiere. It was a bit of challenge because of the size and the fact that the main handle is the ribbed extension with smaller ID than normal. The bulk of the electronics are housed inside the ribbed section. The recharge port wiring is routed through channels in the speaker mount. And to make assembly easier, I stripped the threads in the pommel insert and opted to use the nut to hold it in place. A simple, humble build, but I think it looks great and I'm sure he's gonna go crazy over it.

It's nicknamed the Lucky Padawan because he's darn lucky he has such an awesome uncle

No shots with the blade? Shame!

Love the build though. The brass, black and blue go great together!

Most impressive. I'm sure your nephew will be thrilled.
We all have to start somewhere. The journey is all the more impressive by our humble beginnings.

I love the brass sleeve and use of the trim rings! Your nephew is a very lucky padawan indeed!
