Running off 9V in parallel. Rebel Star Red and accent red:
Star 9-2.4 / .7 = 9.43 Ohms @ 4.62W
Accent 9-2.0 / .02 = 350 Ohms @ 0.14 W
Now the Greens:
Star 9-3.4 / 1 = 5.6 Ohms @ 5.6 W
Accent 9-2.2 / .03 = 227 Ohms @ 0.204 W
When I ask for resistors at my local electronics shops and I give them a Watts value they look at me like I'm from another planet. They don't sell resistors with Watts values!
Anyway, is my maths correct? If so, I'm doing it right and I will be able to recalculate properly for different battery packs.
If I use a BuckPuck for the main LED will I still need to use a separate resistor for the accents?
Thanks for the help.
Iain
