6V Battery and 12V AV latching switch

Hi there,

I'm wondering if I can use a 12V illuminated switch with a Battery of 6V.

Does the 12V switch need min 12V to run or are 6V enough and the LED will just not be as bright as with 12V?

I don't know for sure. I've had some that will light up at those voltages, and some that don't. You'll have to experiment to know for sure.
