Soundboard + LED Driver = Possible?
Would it be possible to daisy chain a non soundboard with a soundboard?
While we're waiting for a restock of the good stuff I am considering using the only soundboard available (that isn't out of a toy) and adding in the TCSS LED driver to get the lighting FX the board doesn't provide.
Sure. I've used a cheap Hasbro soundboard and a buckpuck driver in a saber. The soundboard's main LED was removed and wired to a p-channel MOSFET, which was used to switch the driver on and off.
When you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all.
