    Just passing time on a Saturday. Matching killkey and blade screw

    That is some very nice work! They would look really nice on a saber.

    I've seen PVC mentioned many times here. I've never really thought about using it in this way before.

    It makes a big mess of shavings, but the possibilities are interesting...

    What kind of lathe do you have Mike? I've been debating getting the Harbor Freight 7X10.

    Mine is very similar to that one, if not the same. Older though. I got it years ago in a trade.

    7x10's have their limitations, but you can do quite a bit with one. You should even be able to cut threads once you figure it out (I need to replace a gear in mine to cut threads)

    Stuff like the kill key and screw, chassis parts, it's great for making smaller parts...
