    THE "REBIRTH" OF PHAUXCASSIUS

Recently, I agreed to fix/upgrade a saber for a builder on another forum, who needed the saber done fairly soon, and by an experiences Sabersmith. It had stopped working and was in fairly rough shape.

Most of the "repair" and re-engineering was for the accent LED's (which no longer worked), replacing the recharge port, and adding a modified chassis to properly house the CF and CEX. It received a new (and slightly different pommel), and after doing some re-wiring, and reconfiguring, here is Phauxcassis. If you think the saber looks familiar, it was originally made as an homage to Vader's Vault's Occasius.

    The GLAMS:
    CF v6
    CEX
    Custom designed TCSS chassis
    RGB Tri-(Cree?) LED
    Accent LEDs - Amber - Red - Blue - 5mm RGB
    14650 battery
    28mm 2W Bass speaker

I didn't set them up, or touch the SD card contents for that matter. I just redid the wiring (and replaced parts) to make sure the whole thing was working properly again.

Yes it does, and it's a bit more robust now than what it was.
