Thread: Polarity reversed?

    Default Polarity reversed?

    I have two of these
    http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/Tr...pack-P517.aspx
The came with my GCS Ascend, and a charger to charge them up. One of the batteries makes the light blink red when charging. I looked it up and that seems to be the case.
However, the exact same happens when both are placed in the charger. I'm 100% certain I've not ever put them in backwards. Lastly when I place them in the charger (charger not plugged into wall socket) both the lights on the charger are green.
I don't remember anything like that with previous chargers. Is there another way polarity on a battery could get reversed? Or maybe just bad PCBs?

    Probably a PCB went bad.

"Yeah, yeah, I've heard it all before... you want blindingly bright, super loud, running 1138 blinkies off of the cheapest sound card you can find AND you want all of it to run on a battery the size of a dime, and run for a very, VERY long time. That one cracks me up every time..."
