Default Need help on my crossguard saber first build

Hello, I am lemarsghast and I recently got interested in making my own lightsaber. I wanted to make my own crossguard lightsaber, maybe with sound but for now without because it is a bit too costly and complicated. Here is my current parts list:

Leds: Cree Star LED Red: http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/Cr...dule-P998.aspx

    Side Leds: Not sure yet

    Battery: Li Ions 3.7v: http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/Li...dule-P672.aspx

Battery holder: Single Cell holder: http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/18...lder-P886.aspx

    Blade: Led Corbin style: http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/LE...-OD--P198.aspx

The AV switch, pommel, emitter, etc come with the saber. I still need help finding the right resisters, the two side leds, and I also want a crystal chamber with the saber but I do not know where to start with it because I do not have any power tool knowledge, just some moderate circuitry experience. Thanks

You might want to consider using a 7.4V battery. Crossguard sabers will use a minimum of 3 LEDs, each requiring ~3v. Yes you could wire them in parallel to keep the voltage requirements under 3.7v, but you will drain the battery much faster. Most efficient way is to do 7.4V, wire the 2 side LEDs in series, and the main LED parallel to those. If you want a brighter main LED, consider getting a tri-led and wire 2 of them in series and use the 3rd for flash on clash
