Thread: Flashlight plus Dremel plus TCSS parts

Default Flashlight plus Dremel plus TCSS parts

Thought you might like to see the saber I built. First off I got an American-built flashlight (torch for Brits like me). I took a Dremel to it and cut it to look like a short saber from KOTOR. I then used TCSS-bought Luxeum, Driver, Luke Switchbox, Blade and Bladeholder to make the business end of the saber. These pics do not show the thumbscrews, which I had to drill/tap holes for. My costume pic on a different post about light, dark gray Jedi shows them. I then had the hilt bound in stitched leather to match my boots. Who says Jedi can't be fashion conscious! The bladeholder is held in place by two screws, one of which holds the covertech clip in place as well. Thanks to Tim for his support and all the leg work he put in trying to ship the parts out to me here in Turkey.

The next project will hopefully include sound, but as I saving up to go to Celebration Europe in London in July this project is on hold until autumn (the fall for Americans and other non-terrestrial life forms!). Thanks to everyone for their saber advice on the forums. Ata-pala, Jedi in exile.[/img]
Just a guy with a lightsaber and some questions.

Very nice, I love the leather bound grip, I want to try something like that.
