Default Confused about LED and Battery

    Hi,

So I've watched most of the custom saber shop youtube videos and I think I'm ready for my first build but I don't know a lot about the electrical part of this.

I'm pretty much going to build a saber like the one in the "build a basic saber with sound style 2" video. But after seeing a few other things on the forums and the LED resistor charts on the website I'm second guessing myself.

Here is what I am planning to buy as far as electronics.
    - Panasonic Li-Ion 18650 3.7V
    - Royal Blue Cree XP-E2 CopperNova (and all the other stuff I need for the LED/heatsink)
    - .47ohm .5w resistor
    - recharge port
    - Nano biscotte

My question is will this work and why or why not? I would like to understand more about the electrical aspect. My concern comes because on TCSS websites LED resistor chart, it told me that I didn't have enough voltage.

    Thanks,
    Paul

Yes, you will be fine with the setups you have listed.
